A few things to clarify:

Personal Use Commissions are designed for a person representing themselves and only themselves (i.e. a streamer, a solo video game developer, etc.). Commercial Use Commissions are for a company (i.e. film company, video game development firm, etc.) or a person representing the company (someone acquiring the song for their company). It is requested that the Commissioner honestly and clearly informs RMP about who it is the Commissioner represents, so we can confirm what price level the commission should be placed at.

The timing of the song noted in the Commission Rates table above only refers to what the commission requests the rough length to be. If, for example, RMP were to produce a song requested to be roughly 2:20 long, and it results in a 2:35 long song, the Commissioner will not be penalized nor required to pay the next price level.

Commissioners that request a song with a rough length that equals the 2:30 long threshold will be allowed to pay the lower price level.

RMP reserves the rights to produce a song under or over the requested rough length (hence the title "rough length"). The Commissioner should expect this inexactness, but is allowed to judge whether the length of the song is inadequate before being given a LQ (Low Quality) export of the song.

The Commissioner will receive a LQ copy of the song before given the HQ (High Quality) copy in a format of their choosing. The purpose of receiving the LQ copy is a) to provide proof of the song's existence, ensuring the Commissioner that their money will produce a song from RMP, and b) to allow the Commissioner to have quality control over the song.

Before the Commissioner receives the HQ copy, the price of the song must be paid. Depending on the confidence of the Commissioner this price may be paid upfront, during production, or once the LQ copy is received and reviewed.
